Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Cosmic Ball and Chattanooga Photoshoot

It's time to put on your dancin' shoes

It's that time of year again! It's time for MomoCon's annual formal ball!

This year's Cosmic Ball will be held on July 10, 2010 and will run from 7pm to 11 pm at the Georgia Tech Student Center Ballroom.

Tickets are $10, per person.

Not only is the dance on cosmic proportions, all proceeds made from the dance will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure a wonderful organization dedicated to the research of breast cancer and the gracious support given to diagnosed women across the globe.

So, get your dancing shoes in gear and dance the night away! Most importantly, have fun!

Say cheese...

There's another photoshoot on the horizon and this time, MomoCon is teaming up with MTAC (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention) for more cosplay adventures.

MomoCon and MTAC will be hosting their photoshoot from 9 am to 12 pm at Coolidge Park in Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, July 17th.

This is a morning photoshoot to avoid both the afternoon crowds and hot weather. The photoshoot will only be held in the morning hours and no further extensions will be made. It's advised that you arrive early or at least on time to the event.

The Rhodes Hall photoshoot is over and pictures have yet to be posted into the MomoCon on Tour photo albums. Keep a look out for the Rhodes Hall photoshoot updates with all the amazing photos!
